Our Kraft Has Many Varities
Paper weight is crucial to ensure you select the appropriate stock for your printing requirements. We manufacture packaging boxes with unique printing that range in weight from 45 to 80 grams. Since 45 GSM kraft paper is more flexible than thicker paper, it works well for gusseted pouches. Kraft paper, with a typical thickness of 60 GSM, is more textured and stiffer than 45 GSM, giving it a more tactile feel. Box-bottom and side-gusseted pouches usually employ 70 GSM. This Kraft paper is generally bonded to metalized PET and PE to make a stiff box-bottom bag. Most flexible pouches should not be made with 80 GSM Kraft paper since the material is too thick and will result in a rigid pouch.
